U2 have confirmed that the title of the Glastonbury Festival on Friday evening (June 24th) this year.
The guitarist The Edge has been informed in a speech by video game Shockwaves NME Awards 2011 ceremony in London tonight (February 23).
The statement came shortly after Glastonbury was named Best Festival bash.
